Yippeeee!!! Spring is officially here and, as the weather warms up, I'm really excited about getting out and shooting more. There are going to be a lot of changes going on, namely I'll be moving as some point this summer into my own place. As much as having a roommate is financially fantastic I have missed living on my own.
It will be good to get more involved with DA and my clubs and stuff too once my computer is no longer relegated to a back corner of my bedroom and I don't have to worry about someone else's space anymore
Christmas came in August (well, at least an extra pay cheque did anyway) I spurged and got myself a Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC LD Aspherical IF Macro (let's hear it for staff discounts!)
I just got it today but it has already inspired. Looks like I'll be posting more often again.
It's strange how vividly I can remember the first days of school.
Shopping for new clothes and school supplies. Dressing up, the anticipation of finding out my new classes and whether or not I'd be with my friends.
The crispness of the fall air (life in the far north...crisp air starts August 20th)
Things have changed so much, sharpened pencils have been exchanged for new laptops, passing notes with texting...still, I'm full of nostalgia...
I've almost got my gallery totally set up. I've been trying to remark all of them with the new DGP logo and frame them so that there is uniformity in the gallery (I know...I'm having an OCD moment over all of this.) I've been trying to do as many "portraits" as I can and, so far, my friends have been very accommodating regarding this.
The summer is passing by rapidly and I have to say that, not being a fan of heat nor humidity, I'm happy that autumn is just around the corner. So, in honour of this...
